[/u][/i]Hearken now, the Tale of Spectra...
~It All Began..
…With Five tenants. The Tenants were simple.
These five tenants allowed each of the packs to live in peace, with the help and the guidance of the gods. The creatures respected the tenants at first, but soon as always does, came imminent betrayal within packs. Creatures were killed, Faes were raped, Leaders were slain in their sleep. That was when the Gods intervened.Enraged, the Gods cursed the Five Packs. They had disobeyed their commands and for that, they must suffer a thousand years without the Gods' help and guidance. The Packs suffered greatly, since the Gods were the ones that looked after the lands that they fed on. The trees began to wilt, foliage died, prey became unusually scarce and finally the water was sucked up from the lands and into the heavens. No rain befell the land, and it was constantly dry. The Gods had given them a thousand years of drought, in which no pack could survive.
~They Traveled...
… For days on end. The five packs realized that they could no longer depend on the Gods for help so they decided to leave. The valley in which they lived in was no longer safe. The packs traveled long and hard, many died on the journey. The packs traversed through mountains, valleys, the outskirts of cities, and forests. They then came upon a land that was bountiful with fruit, foliage, and prey.
~The claiming...
…The land was bountiful in everything that was needed, however the packs were still greedy. Many fights broke out within each clan. A Shaman of one of the packs stood, he was grayed with age, and could barley walk. They noticed change within the land as soon as they arrived, drought began to plague the liquid lands and soon, nothing was left. The gray shaman journeyed to the tallest mountain and spoke to the Gods. When he came back, he was frailer than before, his body covered in light white hairs, his eyes was pure white, and he was dying. When asked what the gods had said, he pointed his frail eyes in the direction of Cheyenne and Inuit, the two rival packs filled with the most sadistic of wolves. The gods had banned them, and they left, knowing the gods’ power would kill them all. The last word spoken by the shaman was a word still known a thousand years later.
The Shaman spoke with his last dying breath,“Spectra.”
~Time is up.....
A thousand years have been up and the packs have long since forgotten the Gods, but not the shaman who gave his life for the three packs. The Gods attempting to re-introduce the rules of old, the five tenants that kept peace, but the wolves are unsure. Tension hangs in the air as the remaining packs gather their strength in numbers.
The Gods are offering the ultimate gift to the wolves, but if they reject, what will the gods do?
If they accept…And only one tenant is broken, what will become of them?
Will you accept the blessing...
Or shun it?
Will you enforce the tenants...
Or shatter them?
…With Five tenants. The Tenants were simple.
- Thou shalt not Kill for greed nor gluttony
- Thou shalt honor thy Leader
- Thou shalt not commit betrayal
- Thou shall love one, and only one
- Thou shall honor the Gods with prayer.
