Alliances

[Celtic]

There are three alliances in Rare Secrets. They are Verite, Truque, and Stronden. They each have different rulers, different characteristics, and different motivations. All characters are part of one, or are loners. Below is a bit of information about all of them. Chose wisely.

Verite
Verite are the light element. They live throughout the northern parts of the lands, and are ruled by a king and queen. They are rivals to the Truques, and fight them off commonly. Even though they are known to be "good", the Verite can be proud or vain, and can hold a grudge. Don't anger them, they are valiant warriors, who will fight for the good of the Verite until they die.

Truque
The Truques are the sworn enemy of the Verite. They are more dark of souls, but are known to be suprisingly similer to the Verite. They are proud, can be vain, and are bloodthirsty in battle. They can hold a grudge of such hostility that they have a hard time forgiving. They are power hungery, but have been known to show a suprising devotion to their alliances.

Stronden
The most welcoming of alliances, the southern beach dwellers who make up the Stronden allow all who have not given a reason to be known poorly a chance of being part of them. A wholehearted, generous lot, the Stronden take in those who are not welcome anywhere else. They care for the injured and teach the young. Unforgettable in hospitality, the Stronden will remain part of the lives of anyone that they help in times of need.

Loners
The life of a loner is dangerous. They are a group with no leader, a mix of dangerous rogues and brave young spirits. Rarely does a family of them form without breaking apart soon, and it is rare to see two of them with full trust in eachother. The life of a loner is not for everyone, but some are brave or crazed enough to venture out alone.
